Who here has a batsmen that looks something like this?
Batting = WC Tech = Out (skilled tech talent) Power = WC
few questions if you do and opinions is welcome...
1. Is the Wages Worth it? 2. Is the tech gap even with the talent to big? 3. Is this a great T20 player and a Finisher in SOD/PC?
I am thinking of training one of my players up to this level (or using a finisher with spec tech level)
I have 2 mediums all-rounders coming through and will be very handy with the bat (1x out and 1x expert with skilled batting) and will be bringing in a finger spin all-rounder as well, so with the batting depth in SOD i think i can afford a player like this in the future, and thought this type of player could be deadly in T20 matches...
thoughts?

I could have easily had players like that, but i choose to train other things up too, plus I try to watch the wages. But I do have a world class spinner, his wages are too high and at times I think its pointless and should sell him.
But the great thing about management is we all have different experiences and opinions. My opinion is this, I prefer to have the tech no lower than one level away from the primary.
I don't know what your player looks like now, but I imagine it will be hard to achieve wc batting and wc power and if you do have a player like that then of course he's good to have around, but fielding is really important now too:)

Did some playing around on Rob's player predictor and there is no point in going past exceptional, just takes way to long, and wages are to high, i think i will end up with a team full of exceptional/exceptional player with outstanding fielding and spect-exceptional end/power...
talents will became very important i guess...

I personally love talents. That predictor doesn't work for me, maybe I'm not using the right methods, I go by excel sheets and memory.
But beyond exceptional is silly, because I believe in well rounded players. No point in having a wc batsman, with no power, fielding and endurance.
I'm even stopping at spectacular with half my squad, because I want well rounded players and the wages is an issue toos

I agree, of course if you end up with someone special, then maybe you can look at getting them to wc and beyond, like a Hamdan or Musa! If not, the have them well rounded.
Although this new fielding model is bs in my opinion!

is it? I don't know, there seems to be an awful lot dropped in the matches:P But I guess the more you improve the fielding, the less you will drop. In UAE's last friendly we dropped catches when the fielders were outstanding and our bowlers were very good too, but as its been said, we could be reading too much in to it. I mean, we don't know why they were dropped and how, sounds absurd, but I think that makes sense.

THe fact that a few are dropped is good. When was the last time you saw a real life club match without a few drops? What about ODI? - thats very rare too.
Also, what counts?
Why should level 10/15 not drop catches?
