that's true, but I hate the plops at 30, I mean my players are very good at 28/29 and the season after that they're slipping, all my hard work in the bin. I think Ash should extend that. I mean in real life, I know this is a game:P but in real life players now play till 37 and sometimes even higher:)

Honestly I appreciate the comments above, I'll see if a big gun is going for it, in which case i'll step back, because I'll never tread on people's toes. However, if not, i'll go for it and I will give my all to the comunity and the team:)

Its not bad, considering we're one of the so called miner nations is it? We did very well, if we had a few rested players we would have given nz a scare. Well done to all

Well the thing is, I would like to, it just depends whether the comunity wants me. I do believe though, you've got to have experienced and you have to be smart and my in game stats prove that. So if I go for it, I would like you guys to vote for me, but unlike one or two of the other fellas I'll not be disturbing you and emailing you in game asking for votes, which by the way your not allowed to do. And cheers for your support daz, coming third or fourth in the world cup is not bad for a miner nation hey?

You deserve credit indeed, so can I take some credit for last night? :) Good job, winning by 43 runs, We'll certainly take that. There's no such thing as an easy match, so with that on we go to the West Indies, on a dry.

Absolutely spot on Andy. I thought we had the game when Ryder and Saleh were at the crease, but once one of them went, we lost wicket after wicket:( And as for tonight, its canada on a flat with windy conditions. Hopefully we can pull something out of the bag.

Will have to echo the above. You take all the time in the world, this week has also showed me family is a lot more important than anything else.
As for giving it up at the end of the season, its a shame, but I totally Understand. someday I would love to be the NAT Manager, should I put myself up for the big job at the end of the season? I don't know, i'm still considering it.
In the meanwhile lets go and do our best in the wc.

I agree Rob. To be honest a world class batsman with world class end, world class tech and world class power should be doing alot better than he does. I have one like that guy and yet a bh with spec batting does alot better, something should be done about that.

Hmmm i've always valued power, but if you assess it carefully surely the batsmen with the higher power make more runs. In my team players with the low power always mess up and get out early its only when they've hit reliable power do they start performing, kamal is the perfect example for me. I don't understand why low power on accumulators though?
I definitely don't train power for my spinners unless they can bat.

I'm still confused. Rob are you saying power isn't as important as we make it out to be? If that is the case then how come a bowlers over all summary goes up as his power improves? Actually that goes same for the batsman too. I never train my spinner's power. I know this is turning in to "ask rob" abit here lol but does it matter if you bowl your spinners at the death? I always avoid it for some reason.
