Not sure if I'll do this every time, but I thought it might be nice for the rest of you guys to have a look at and discussion of the sorts of decisions we make in the national teams.
So this tour the squad basically picks itself for the first 16 players... leaving a slot for a bowler and a slot for a batsman.
Conditions:
Hosting Country West Indies
First Preferred Pitch Hard
Second Preferred Pitch Uneven
Third Preferred Pitch Green
With the bowler the choice is:
----------------------------------
So, 2 things really, is it worth the batting of Javed for a fraction less bowling and less fielding? He's done OK in his 2 friendlies. And is it worth rewarding someone other than Ash?
Than the batsmen:
------------------------------
This one basically is going to boil down to do we want an accumulator or a finisher?
So guys (and gals?) - what do you think? Who would you take? Why?
