how big are your senior and youth squads? maybe trim them a little if you have a surplus of players

my youth squad is non existant, and trimming players outside the top 12 would only take off 20k p/w and thats not enuough unfortunately. Think i might sell all my top players aged 27+ who are on 15k p/w min and i dunno, buy a group of 20/21 yos. this is fustrating was not expecting that big of a wage jump was 150k last season.

Damn, that's a pretty decent jump. I try to keep my individual player wages below ~12k, so about spec/spec and then pump secondaries. Worked pretty well for me, rated 205k+ with fairly low wages until I sold my 30+ players. Looking over your oldies that I can see there seems to be almost no fielding and not enough of the other secondaries IMO so you aren't getting value for the wages you're paying anwyay.
I find it's hard to buy in good players without massive wages, so I prefer to train my own players how I want from either 16 or 20.
I think once you hit div 2 and 1 then you can afford to expand in terms of primaries, but you don't need it for the lower divs IMO.

My guess is that your players are way too good for the divisions you're in. Perhaps you've trained primaries too heavily?
Either way, I reckon you need to sell off some big wage players. I think you'll come back even every week once you do that (after gate takings of course).

What division are you in? 15k+ waged players wouldn't be needed outside of the top divisions I would think.
I've only got two players above 7k wages (and they moved over that threshold this update) and I've made it to div 4 in Australia. Buying some 20/21s and sticking with them for a few seasons isn't that glamorous but you'll save a bunch of money and still be competitive. Once they mature you'll be in a great spot.

yea ive put a number of my players on for sale, will get rid of everyone above 25 except 3 players. problem was i was banking on promotion last season and i guy rated alot lower then me kept beating me. Most of my good players are exceptional/exceptional, ill look at getting players decent 20/21 and just pump secondaries sell them off when they get too expensive might be the go from now on, just got emotionall attached to my group atm coz most came from my academy aha

Lots of 15k players should result in 230k ratings I believe which is good enough for Div1 easily. Maybe train secondaries earlier to get better performances and lower wages.
