Well thats me out of PC for this season. Was facing the number 2 seed next week anyway so I'm not too fussed about this loss. Time to focus purely on my leagues now.

I guess going out of the cup can be a blessing in disguise.

I guess going out of the cup can be a blessing in disguise. yeah, am hoping so too, as I fielded a weaker squad to ensure that I aim to promote in SOD

how are people coping financially?
Because I'm struggling now, with massive wages and academies sucking up an awful lot of money, i'm losing over $350000 at the start of the week and it seems the crowd who attend the ftp matches are a little tight, compared to other online games. So going to have to sell one of my nats, or my upcoming superstars, but the trouble is, i cannot do that, unless I accept going down. And as for the young guns? well they are close to pops, but I need money now:(
Just thought I'd share that:P

Im managing quite well. Didn't buy any players at End of Season, and winging it with 1 keeper so wages are well under control.
Upgrading my stadium another 4k next week and got a couple of decent young players starting to develop.
Also through to round 4 of the cup with a relatively easy SOD match on friday.

lucky, lucky!
Nathan, isn't fatigue kicking in now?
When is the best time to upgrade your ground? Once you start filling out for a couple of weeks?
I mean I suppose its easy if your the best or even the second best team in your div to upgrade!

I have another question? Regarding training, how many weeks should it take for someone to pop in a primary, now I know it depends on the level of academy and their age. I have a 17 year old who's been training in bowling for 9 weeks and his bowling hasn't popped, my academy is lavish, is this normal? Or am i just sounding desperate?

Well he would of been 16 for 4 weeks of those 9 (correct me if im wrong)
so he should of popped by now, must be at 99.99% lol, he should pop next week.

your right, that's what i'm thinking, I don't get it. Ah well, next week it is then. Now he's going to be an all rounder, what's the next step, should i put him into batting or all rounder training?

I would always do all-rounder training with some fielding training when training all-rounders, once my bowling or batting is to a level i want then i will change it to bat or bowl or tech training.

what's the difference? because once his bowling pops, I would like his batting up next, i'm just wondering really? I've never investigated in training patterns or what they should train in, actually that sounds wrong, what i mean is, I never train allrounder training, so I don't know the success rate of it, if that makes sense?

all-rounder training trains faster then rotating from batting and bowling. so to get the most out of your player, train all-rounder until batting or bowling is at the level you want, not train all-rounder until a pop happens, for example i am training all-rounder training until my bowling is at exceptional or my batting is at expert, my batting will get there first so once my batting gets to expert i plan to go to bowl/bowl-tech training until my bowling hits exceptional and tech hits exceptional, then my prims are done for him and i don't need to touch prims again.

good point, I really don't want to sell this lad, he could be my best allrounder. By the way, his bowling popped today to cap and he's 17.
So now he's something like this:
End ordin. Bat, reas. Bowling, cap. Tech, reas. Power, average. fielding, average.

Currently am sitting in the first place in T20 div 3 and second place in SOD Div 4. My aim for this season is to promote in SOD and need to focus on it. Will now have to manage my squad to ensure that I can be in the race for the SOD at least.
I know its still early days and a loss in either leagues could ruin a promotion chance, but its a nice predicament to have at this moment.
