I don't think ive seen a decent buy since the start of the season. i will keep my cash for mid season if needed. just will bow out of the PC really quickly if i cant get some back up players to manage fatigue.

Will make one last effort at my agent trying to get someone today. If I don't I'll be doing what Smiddie is doing and waiting for Mid Season. I was just hopeful I could get one transfer in before the new season.

I need a decent spinner that costs less than $300000.
Anyone?
My wages are going to be crazy now that I've brought Joe O'brien, he earns $25600 a week.
By the way, at what age do players start losing their skills? And am I right in thinking they lose their strength and Endurance right?
Good luck Ebb.

My WK kept losing then gaining a lvl of endurance at 30. but at 31, his endo is slowly trickling. I only really need one player to be fair. have the money to go for a big name. Got one of two players in mind. Both realistically I think will cost 900k Minimum. But would both retire with me. Should I get one of them. So for an average cost of like 300k a season. Worth the risk I think.

They start to plop a random amount in a random skill (I've seen no preference for strength or endurance) at 30. I'm finding that they on average GAIN rating at 31, so plop slower than pop.

o right, probably for another thread, but does that mean spending almost £900000 on a 28 yo England nat too much of a risk then?

If he does the business for you. Then he is definitely worth it!!
Last season I bought Raghuvir. A batsmen for 550k. He made 456 runs in SOD inc. 2 100's and 4 50's and single handedly won me those games were he batted, Finisher talent, so most of the games the top order did it but if not, Raghuvir rarely failed and to me, I've already got my money from him.
08 Jul 11 03:16 Hala Ogot Dk's XI The Ultimate Blue Roses $703,547 57,151
Made my first purchase of the season. The Kenyan Seamer. He'll retire with me at 32 or something and will be first team still at 30-31 I'd imagine, so he'll be worth the money. Needed a big name seamer for 1.1 this season.
Just need a cheap batsmen to power my batting side of it up. Might go for just a cheap 29 y.o.

How many players are you guys looking to have in your senior squads this season? I think i'll not bother with the WC this season, fatigue is a killer!

Granted 4 of them have only just promoted from my youth academy so will be primarily used for T20 to rest my big guns for a double header on the Fri/Sun.

I'll most likely be taking a squad of 18 this season. Will continue to grow.

O right. I keep my squad to about 12 to 13 players, just to save wages, I wish I could keep a squad of 20 players
