Made it to Rd3 for the first time . Playing a guy who ranks slightly higher then me but we pull similar ratings, its going to be interesting, no matter what pitch i select he will have the better bowlers, but i have much better fielding, better batsmen and a longer batting line-up, so not sure yet but im thinking uneven just cause he has way better spinners and i would like to keep them out of it if i can.

Just realised despite round 3 being fairly easy, i'll have to throw this one:(
My players are pretty tired out, endurance is not the strongest point amongst my squad.

Fatigue is playing a part on my squad also, (i only have 13 players though) but with my rotation system, i have 6 players on energetic and 6 players on revived and with Thursday update to come i should have a decent team to put out on Friday, my keeper is on passable though and with out a back-up im going to struggle there, im looking at a player on the market though but he wont make it to Fridays game but will be playing Sunday if i get him...

I also have a 13 man squad, but i'm chucking in my youths at the moment for some experience, but even they are getting shattered! But sadly time to say goodbye to the cup and say good morning to survival in div1:D

I final have gathered the guts to sell my best performer who made power and experience seem very unimportant at times, but got an offer of 325k and i am going to take it. so i will be another man down, i am also selling a 13k wage spinner as i feel its a waste of wage, so going to be playing with 11 man squad (12th man will be a no body) but at least the sales dont go through until after the PC game and before wage update, so i do have some time to find replacements with the money i get, so i might have to say goodbye to the PC just incase i cant find suitable replacement right away...

I hate having a small squad.. I'd rather struggle a tad financially then only have 11 available.

I wont stay with 11 players but will do just fine until i find few players, i love having a small squad i wont get more then 13 players unless i get through another rd of the PC then i will buy 6 players straight up as fatigue as taken its toll now...

I wouldn't say i'm mad about a small squad, but wages are something you have to consider carefully, hence the reason I tend to keep my squad small. If I had two extra decent bowlers and 2 extra decent batsmen I would be going through to the fourth round of the cup, where as now i'm looking at chucking in my youths and hoping for the best.

Yeah you need 18 players for a good PC run, already worked that out but just for your leagues i have lasted 3 seasons with 11 players (12th man being a water boy) and the lately i have been playing with 12 to give me an extra spinner when its needed but i dont need anymore cause fatigue is always rested.

End of over 47 (4 runs) - Smiddie's All Stars(162-10) RR 3.45 A. Smith 12 (23b) , C. Phelps 8.4-1-30-3
My batsmen failed big time, only 1 batsmen made 50 and only just as wickets were falling all around him so he couldnt really get going, my bowlers had to chip in with some very important runs, but this score is about 100runs to short, i hate batting first its like the batsmen have not intelligence when they dont have something to chase.
I was hoping my superior fielding and his weak fielding would give me some free runs and help me take wickets but we will never no as the score is to little to find out.
my PC run would of been over next round anyways, but i guess the extra week away from PC will help me get back on track for my league as im falling behind.

4.1 W Tait to Sher-e-Lahore : That ball from Tait has nipped off the pitch and cannoned into the pads of Sher-e-Lahore. The umpire has given it and Sher-e-Lahore is not very happy with that decision. The replay shows that it was missing leg by quite a considerable margin. A. Sher-e-Lahore lbw b. S. Tait 5 (16b 0x4 0x6) SR:31.25
4.2 W Tait to Udayan : Tait gets that one to cut sharply off the seam. Udayan sticks his bat out in hope but can only manage to get a faint edge. Gilchrist dives to his right and takes that one just inches from the turf much to the delight of Tait. Udayan can't believe his luck and begins the long walk back to the sheds. D. Udayan c A. Gilchrist b. S. Tait 0 (1b 0x4 0x6) SR:0.00 End of over 5 (maiden) - Lahore Leopards(16-2). 147 runs required from 45 overs. RR 3.20 RRR 3.27 A. Haider 0 (4b) , P. Thomas 10 (10b) , S. Tait 3-1-6-2 Tait has come to play, need him to do that once more including Thomas's wicket and i have a chance
