We play on rather unfriendly pitches. We won our first match by beating Pakistan.
Second match against Scotland in on today. After 13 overs we are 81-2. Lost our two openers quickly but the rate looks good for a crumbling wicket.

You cursed us Dbest. Ended up with 7/127, probably a tad below par I think. Hopefully our bowlers perform well today.

End of over 10 (4 runs) - Scotland U19(64-2). 64 runs required from 10 overs. RR 6.40 RRR 6.40 T. Stevenson 15 (12b) , M. Watson 7 (12b) , K. Shadi 3-0-17-1
Scots are bang on the RRR at this stage, really feel like we need more wickets though.

lost by 5 balls, a shame, but always a danger with a spin pitch.

Horrible to see that they got the 6 runs they needed from the first ball of the final over. Well, could have been worse and they could have won it of the last ball.
With 2 teams getting the drop from the league, we need to be very careful now.

Match has started against the poms and it's fireworks early on with 2 wickets and plenty of boundaries. Be interesting to see how this one pans out.
End of over 2 (7 runs) - England U19(17-2) RR 8.50 S. McLean 4 (1b) , B. Todd 3 (3b) , N. Mahmoud 1-0-7-1

So far so good I'd say, looks like they haven't got any real allrounders so should struggle unless they can keep Plummer on strike. Though looks like he's started farming. End of over 17 (6 runs) - England U19(86-5) RR 5.06 C. Cohen 8 (8b) , T. Plummer 15 (22b) , C. Kaleel 3-0-14-0

Great work from the bowlers today. Honestly we should chase this down with our batting lineup. Having said that, Michael Inverarity is probably the most scary looking 19 yr old I've ever seen.

Amazing effort from our boys, taking down the mighty England. Good signs for us heading into the last two matches.
