Hey again people.
I'm back once more to try my hand at FTP. I really enjoyed the game a few years back until I just sort of drifted away due to time restraints.
Tried to come back once a few months ago, but it didn't really stick with my uni schedule. However, now that is pretty much sorted and my final year of uni should be pretty bludgy I want to give this a try again (Only have to do the bare minimum of 3 subjects each semester to graduate at the end of the year)
I noticed some of the old crew came back, I think I saw Brayden start up again a couple of weeks ago.
Anyways, my in game name this time is lion4life. I look forward to chatting to ya'll in game.
Go UAE

As most of you become aware, Im back. Most of you probably dont know why i disappeared for two weeks, but it was and is a very still a tragic time for me in my family. My younger brother passed away about 2 and a half weeks ago in a car accident. Im trying to move on, but i just needed some space to mourn for my brother and put everything else aside. Only destruction was aware that there was a death in my family in a brief message that i left him telling him that i needed some space.
Essentially, I will remain on as Nat manager, to the end of the current term, and will be stepping aside, as its time for some fresh blood.

Looking for a 3rd Assistant to Replace Equisiteblue as a Nat Assistant since he is becoming inactive.
Please IGM a small application as to what you think you can bring to the job and I will discuss with Destruction and Rob on the Private board.
Will be sorting this within a week as we have the T20 tour to prepare for.

well, we decided not to bid on the hosting rights as it does not make that big a difference to us because of our squad. Being realistic we will not have the strongest squad going into the T20 tour in div 1 being outrated 5-10k by Aussies, England and other majors etc But Im confident in My t20 abilities at Nat level and believe we can at the very least scrape 2-3 wins together to stay up Windies won the tour rights and chose spinning pitches which plays into our favour

Very Happy with the start for the World Cup. We've been able to rotate the squad well and our squad is overall fully fit.

The Arabs are high on success, we beat the Scots today, despite them beating the Ossies yesterday and they had better ratings than us. However, a 6 wicket victory puts us top of the table with 8 points with the rest on 4 points apart from the Netherland who are on 0 points after 2 games played. Today it was all about Ababneh's 112 not out off 128 balls and Ahmad's 5 for 64, I hope the winning continues and we reach the next round. That was a very big win for us. Puts us in a superb position to progress now. A win against USA would be epic

I can tell you right now that this wont do any good in regards to my academy. My youth academy level is currently at non-existant and not likely to change anytime in the near future

Just thought that pending the results of the world cup Im currently planning to run for reelection to the post of national manager of UAE for a second term.
If Im elected, there will be a complete overhaul of the squad with the likes of Hamdan, Saleh and all the old guard, retiring. My main focus will now be on the introduction of youth completely over the next two seasons, but still to be relatively competitive (ie Armanjani will be around etc)
Unfortunately over the past two seasons, I haven't managed to get UAE to promote out of Div 3 SOD, but hopefully that will change this tour. On the bright side, I have maintained UAE Status in Div 1 T20, which I am happy for, given our depth of players.

I ended up losing. Came out a crumbling pitch for me which is almost the worst possible pitch due to the weakness of my spinners and the strength of his spinning duo. My strength lies in my medium and fast bowlers.
Was outrated by 10 or so K

Im managing quite well. Didn't buy any players at End of Season, and winging it with 1 keeper so wages are well under control.
Upgrading my stadium another 4k next week and got a couple of decent young players starting to develop.
Also through to round 4 of the cup with a relatively easy SOD match on friday.

I won my match by 10 wickets lol Guy informed me that he would be playing his youths, so I was able to rest the majority of my fatigued squad
