I have to echo those compliments too, in the first few games the U19 team looked unbeatable to wards the end thing went a little wrong, never the less there's a lot of promise there and I think that team will do well in the wc.

I think our WC performance will be VERY dependant on pitches, we have a horrible weakness that there is in essence no getting around.

First match in charge for the new(old) management team with Fitzy in-charge.
Match Details Home UAE U19 Away Pakistan U19 Ground Ranti Rocks! CG League U-19 One Day 3 Date 15 Aug 11 05:30 Crowd 15,000 Weather Sunny Pitch Crumbling
End of over 50 (8 runs) - UAE U19(255-7) RR 5.10 W. Hana 3 (2b) , K. Mousa 27 (28b) , I. Nazir 10-0-55-0
A superb century from Sam, well supported by Habib who put on a 50 run partnership for the 4th wicket. Mousa played well in the final overs. This score should get us home safely, and am counting on the crumbling wicket to just do the damage.
Fingers crossed!

What a close encounter, but got the win which is what counts. Did'nt get off to the best start, losing Yousif for a golden duck! Good to see some strong performances by the seam department and Habib.
Now face Sri Lanka.

We get Millar on his way quickly or we could be in some trouble here. His wicket is crucial.

was always gonna be difficult chasing a 200+ score on a crumbling wicket. we did come close. we still have an opportunity to promote. Need to beat Ireland and hope that SL beat Pak.

True that, need to finish off this tour on a high note with a win. Also I apologize to everyone about how in-active I've been this week. I've come down with a bit of a cold so I've pretty much been in bed the last few days.
