Thrashed them. But what do you expect when Smedley is your captain 2 out of 2 under his captaincy in the world cup. Co-Incidence some would say.. Others would say sheer skill haha. Shame he can't push on and make some freaking runs!! Good start peeps. Keep it up.

Anwar Jabir left his mark in yesterday's match. Truly amazing performance. Top scored with 82 valuable runs and picked up 4 wickets.

indeed, after that innings I was worried he'd get smashed all over the park... but was the start with bat and ball and deserved 1 more fantasy point to claim 200.
Still he jumped to the "world cup champion" number one position in a single match.

We do stand a good chance of making it to the next round, if we can get the better of Zimbabwe. We do have to face SA who are lingering at the bottom of the table.

match tied versus Zimbabwe. A match that we almost lost. Now all we need to do is win our final game and we are in the next round.

Unlucky guys. No batsmen just got going today, that was the problem. Smedley and R.Jaber both got mid thirties then threw there wicket away with a couple of others getting 20 odd but not one pushed on and guided us through.

frustrating to go out to 4 spinners, but it shows the difference really, our spinners this year were VERY VERY VERY poor.

frustrating to go out to 4 spinners, but it shows the difference really, our spinners this year were VERY VERY VERY poor. Indeedy and it seems like every other country had some really good ones. I had a Expert summary spinner miss out on the WC For Zimbabwe and a Accomplished Summary spinner(with avg bat) miss out for Bangaldesh

Unlucky loss to finish our campaign. I think the combination of not bowling well in the last 10 as well as none of or batsmen getting past the 30s resulted in our loss. No regrets with the team really, we did the best with what we were given. It was always going to be hard having barely any variety in our attack. Looking forwards to the new crop of players coming through now.

We knew it was gonna be a tough WC with our squad limitations. We did our best, but the last match ended badly for us. They never looked troubled as we were not in the game.

It's a shame we did'nt really have that one stand out spin option to partner our strong seam attack.
